Genealogy / Family History

Located in St. Louis, Missouri, Vagabond Information Services (VIS) provides family research.

The primary resources accessed are strictly confined to the St. Louis metropolitan area, including the military records stored at the National Personnel Records Center in St. Louis County.

Additional unique, but secondary resources available for genealogical research in the metropolitan area include the nationally renowned Special Collections housed at the St. Louis County Library headquarters, the library collection of the National Genealogical Society and the Missouri History Museum collection.

For areas outside the St. Louis metropolitan area, fee-based and subscription databases as well as membership and free databases will be accessed via the Web in an effort to leave no stone unturned and complete the contracted research.
